Terms and Conditions

Services

1. The quality, quantity and description of the Services are as stated in the Scope of Services.

2. The XD Eco Carpentry Pte Ltd shall perform and complete the Services in accordance with the design agreement.

3. The drawings and layout plans presented may not constitute exactly to the actual completed work as the drawing are indicative only.

4. Any works and services undertaken by XD Eco Carpentry Pte Ltd for the Client prior to the operative date of the Design agreement, shall be incorporated in the Services and are governed by the terms of the Design agreement.

5. Any alterations or additions of the confirmed design agreement requested  by the client's will be charged extra to the buyer.

 

Payment for Services

1. The Client shall pay XD Eco Carpentry Pte Ltd the Fee in consideration of the performance of the Services in accordance with the Design agreement.

2. XD Eco Carpentry Pte Ltd Ltd shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss or any loss to the client's arising from the third party claims occasioned by errors in carrying out the work or by delay in delivery.

3. XD Eco Carpentry Pte Ltd Ltd reserves the right to stop work if the progressive payment is not received. No compensation shall be due to the client's for such termination.

4. All deposit and progressive payments made are not refundable for termination of the contract required by Client's.

5. There will be no retaining amount after the completion of the touch up works agreed upon with Client's.

6. Client's shall bear additional charges for labour and material should changes be made to the colour scheme after the painting of the project is complete.

7. Variation Order shall be agreed upon in writing before commencement of work.

8. Payment terms: Please crossed cheque and made payable to "XD Eco Carpentry Pte Ltd"

   1. 10% down payment upon confirmation of contract.

   2. 20% down payment upon commencement of work.

   3. 30% down payment upon being progressive claim - Mansory & Ceiling Work

   4. 30% down payment upon being progressive claim - Installation of Carpentry Work

   5. 10% final payment upon completion of works’

 

Liabilities and Warranties

1. Client's shall inspect completed work and should there be any complaints, it must be made know to
   XD Eco Carpentry Pte Ltd within 14 days from the date of delivery.

2. The warranty period for the workmanship will be only effective for 1 year starting from the date of completion.

3. All confirmed communication (e.g. change in design, colour, additional/ variation order, etc.) must be in writing, otherwise it will be treated as invalid.

4. XD Eco Carpentry Pte Ltd shall not be responsible for the existing cracks or damages that appear on the wall, should the cracks or damages arise due to nature movement, or other subsequent construction or related works of the buildings.

 

Intellectual Property Rights

1. The Client acknowledges that XD Eco Carpentry Pte Ltd remains the owner of all Design IP within this agreement.

2. The Client acknowledges and agrees that all Developed IP is vested in XD Eco Carpentry Pte Ltd and is the XD Eco Carpentry Pte Ltd’s property as and when created, and the Client hereby assigns all rights, title and interest in and to the Developed IP to XD Eco Carpentry Pte Ltd.
